Woodbury needs to be for everybody.
I care deeply about this community. I would like to see Woodbury continue to be one of the most desirable places to live in the Twin Cities, and a place where families feel a sense of belonging. We need to plan ahead in a way that keeps Woodbury welcoming for everyone, with access to great parks and trails, good schools, healthcare and a variety of housing options.

Quality Drinking Water
Quality drinking water is non-negotiable, and is one of my highest priorities. A new water treatment plant is currently being built, and I will continue to be a strong advocate for getting this project to the finish line. We also need to ensure that we take the necessary steps to keep our water safe long after the facility is completed.
Affordable Housing
One of the biggest challenges facing Woodbury is making sure we have housing that meets the needs of people at every stage of life, including first-time homebuyers, families, seniors on fixed incomes and long-time residents who want the opportunity to age-in-place in the community they love.
We need to provide a thoughtful mix of housing options; this diversity will strengthen our community. We also need to make available affordable housing programs such as down payment assistance or low down payment plans with low interest rates.
Rising Property Taxes
Affording a home has become out of reach for many, largely due to ever-increasing property taxes. A vibrant economic development plan that includes mindful business growth is vital; expanding the manufacturing and industrial base will spread out the property tax base and shift the burden of tax increases away from homeowners.
Fiscal Responsibility
We have a responsibility to treat taxpayer’s dollars with the same care we would use with our own.
As an experienced businessman, I know the importance of balancing a budget, making carefully considered investments, and getting the most from every dollar.
Thoughtful Growth
Thoughtful, well-managed growth is essential to preserving what makes Woodbury special. We should welcome new homes, businesses, and other opportunities while making sure that the growth strengthens our community and complements the neighborhoods and investments that are already here.
As a successful small business owner, I know how to set goals and how to create and implement a plan to reach them.
Open Communication
I think city government is at its best when it focuses on the things that have the biggest impact on people’s everyday lives. To do this effectively, leaders must listen.
As someone who has been actively involved in the community, I understand the importance of listening first in order to make decisions that reflect the priorities of residents.
